Cancellation Policy
Please remember Facet Skin Care is by appointment only. Your appointment time is very important to me and reserved exclusively for you; therefore, plenty of time is needed to fill the spot you are rescheduling or canceling. The gap in the schedule created by insufficient notice is impossible to fill leaving your esthetician with an hour or more of dead time along with lost revenue.
It is my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, and ask you to honor the following policies.
New Clients
All new clients are required to complete intake/consultation forms. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first appointment to allow enough time for completion.
Booking Appointments
When booking an appointment online you will need to enter your credit card number to hold the appointment. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking.
Arrival
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows enough time to fill out the necessary paperwork, use the restroom and to change into your treatment attire, and ensures that your appointment starts on time.
Canceling | Rescheduling
Unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. As a courtesy to other guests and the service provider, please give a minimum *24 hours advance notice* if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Clients with late cancellations or not showing for appointments will be charged 100% of the scheduled service/s amount. You will be charged for the No Show appointment 15 minutes after the start of appointment time. For waxing or sugaring appointments, any type of hair removal prior to your appointment resulting in the hair being too short to wax or sugar will be charged 100% of the visit and rescheduled to return in 2 weeks. A confirmation text is sent at the time of booking, and reminder texts and emails are sent prior to your scheduled appointment time.
No-shows
My online booking system generates two notifications - a confirmation at the time of booking and a reminder 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment days and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation | no show fee.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened to accommodate appointments that follow yours. Once you arrive, it will be determined if there is adequate time remaining to perform your treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment performed, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your esthetician and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Illness or Emergencies
If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. There is no penalty or timeframe required in this case, for your safety and that of other clients but you MUST call prior to your appointment time.
Children | Additional Guests
The treatment room is limited on space and contains products and tools | machines that are potentially dangerous. Therefore it is requested that clients do not bring additional guests to their appointments.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the treatment room. Thank you for making other arrangements for your children on appointment days.
Treatment Age Limitation
The minimum age to receive treatments at Facet Skin Care is 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the duration of treatments.
Exchanges | Refunds
No refunds on product purchases or gift certificates. Products may be exchanged for replacement or credit within 10 days of purchase, and no more than 10 percent of product used.
